Sugar Cookie Care Guide

Yay — you got the cookies! Here’s how to keep them fresh, beautiful, and party-ready.

Storage Tips

To keep your sugar cookies looking and tasting their best:

  • Do not refrigerate — it can cause condensation and ruin the design

  • Store in a cool, dry place away from heat or sunlight

  • Leave them in the heat-sealed packaging until you're ready to serve

  • If unwrapped, store in an airtight container to maintain softness

How Long Do They Last?

Sugar cookies stay fresh in their sealed bags for up to 2 weeks at room temperature.
Want to save them for later? You can freeze them! See below 👇

Freezing Instructions

If you’d like to freeze your cookies:

  1. Keep them in their original heat-sealed bags (or place in individual zip-top bags)

  2. Place the cookies in a single layer in a freezer-safe container

  3. When ready to eat, let them thaw at room temperature, in the container, unopened for several hours — this helps prevent any condensation from forming on the icing

Please Note:

  • Sugar cookies are fragile — avoid stacking or tossing them around

  • They are for decor and dessert, not for use in hot/humid displays (like outdoor tables in direct sun)

  • Custom cookies are handmade and may vary slightly from one another — that's part of the charm!
